Dazzling Café, a Taiwanese brand renowned for its Shibuya-style honey toast and chic interior concepts, will be launching its first Southeast Asian outlet in Singapore this April. Opening at the recently-renovated Capitol Piazza along North Bridge Road, it will serve an array of menu favourites such as the Mochi “QQ” Waffle and Mentaiko Pasta, as well as an exclusive range of teas. As for the famed honey toast, customers will be treated to a selection of ingredients that include strawberries, custard, pistachios and ice-cream.
The outlet also houses a champagne bar and a second floor alfresco dining area. Inspired by French aesthetics, the café exudes a contemporary, whimsical vibe with its diamond doorknobs, unicorn displays, rabbit chairs and chandeliers.
“Singaporeans love to eat, they are fast adapters to new concepts as well. We hope to bring a greater awareness to the nascent rise of café culture in Singapore,” said Serene Tan, the Executive Director at Savoury Creations Pte Ltd.
The group is overseeing the launch of the café chain’s new outlet, and has plans to open two more in Singapore. They are also aiming to establish outlets in Malaysia and Indonesia within the next couple of years.
The Dazzling brand was first started in 2005 as a designer jewellery boutique, before it further developed its operations as a café business in 2010. Created by sibling duo Janet and Johnny Yang, Dazzling Café has since expanded to Taiwan, Shanghai and Hong Kong.
