Canopy Garden Dining Revamps and Reopens
Post Date: 2015-06-11
After an extensive four-month revamp, Canopy at Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park II reopened in May with a renewed look. The revamp has introduced a fresh, contemporary look through the use of wooden flooring and furniture, which complement the restaurant’s surrounding flora and fauna.
Those who enjoy admiring nature without being exposed to its elements will appreciate the building’s indoor seating, with floor-to-ceiling glass panels that allow a full view of the garden surroundings.
Enhancing the experience is the alfresco area that allows diners to be closer to nature while being kept cool by Canopy’s aesthetic green wall. To further connect Canopy to its natural environment, landscaping has created an inviting and relaxing tropical oasis around the restaurant.
In addition to an invigorating new appearance, Canopy has enhanced it services and menu to create a completely fresh experience for diners.
“We would love to show our appreciation to our guests over the past eight years through our recent renovation. Our revamp encompasses the upgrade from our façade, menu and service standards. Canopy truly embodies the concept of dining against the backdrop of nature,” said Kameron Kurtz, Canopy’s Directing Chef and General Manager.
While the restaurant boasts an exciting new look, it has retained many of its all-time favourites in its new menu such as Crab Aglio Olio, Eggs Benedict and Pan-seared Salmon.
Canopy’s passion for fresh, flavoursome food does not end at its mains. They make their own dessert like muesli and pastries, and boast over 30 different wine labels that are not easily found in commercial outlets. For those who can’t bear to leave their furry friends at home to indulge in sumptuous fare, Canopy’s alfresco area is also animal-friendly.
